HO PRR G32, G32A Gondola Decals Circle Keystone Sheme (1930-1954)

The G32 class of gondolas was built from April 1949 to October 1950 as a throw-back to an earlier era of smaller gondolas, having an interior length of 46 feet. In addition to this initial batch of 600 cars 1500 additional cars were built as class G32A from April to June 1953, resulting in a total of 2100 cars of this size on the roster. Nearly all of these cars lasted beyond 1968 into Penn Central.

This sheet includes enough data for 1 car. the data setup on a per-panel basis with pre-fix numbers included for the four different number prefixes assigned to the G32/G2A, 317, 318, 370, 371. Scale Codes for Downingtown, PA (P42), Enola, PA (P50), East Altoona, PA (P57), Pitcairn, PA(P204) , Wheeling, WV (P270) , and Fort Wayne, IN(P441) have been included. Enough numbers have been included in a separate sheet for you to create your own within the numbers ranges.

The G32 and G32A have been produced as a 3D printed kit by Plate C Model Prototypes sold by 3D Central Trains.

For painting instructions any of this gondolas in the Circle Keystone Monogram scheme (pre-1954), the carbody is to be painted in Freight Car Color, trucks are black.
